Are you experiencing lines, wrinkles and visible signs of aging and looking for a safe, effective and non-surgical skin rejuvenation solution? At Vitahl Medical Aesthetics, we offer Juvederm® injectable treatments to plump volume-deficient areas and create smoother, younger-looking skin with no downtime.
One of the most trusted names in non-surgical skin rejuvenation, Juvederm® products have some of the highest formulations of hyaluronic acid in the aesthetic market. Found naturally in the body, hyaluronic acid provides natural volume to the skin. When injected underneath the skin with a fine needle, Juvederm® immediately binds with the water in your body to lift and plump your skin.
Juvederm® is approved in several countries worldwide, and at Vitahl Medical Aesthetics, our injection techniques can help you achieve multiple aesthetic goals such as:
Your specific treatment options will be discussed during your consultation with Dr. Humes and our medical team. Juvederm may also be used to treat dark circles, for ‘smoker’s lines’ and more. Trust your skin to the experts at VITAHL; we always offer consultations so you can see if the treatment is right for you.
Men and women who are experiencing thin lips and/or visible signs of aging and who either do not want or do not qualify for surgery may be good candidates for this procedure. This treatment is also approved based on overall health, medical history, aesthetic goals and treatment expectations. During your consultation with your VITAHL expert and medically trained providers, we will discuss the treatments that are available to you based on these factors.
As with all injectable treatments, slight bruising, swelling, redness and itching can occur at injection sites, which typically subside within a day or so. Serious complications are rare, with most patients returning to normal activities immediately. All other safety information that may apply to you will be discussed during your consultation.
With optimal treatment, your smoother, younger-looking skin can last for several months up to one year. Results may vary, and it may take multiple treatment sessions in order to achieve your aesthetic goals based on your individual skincare needs.
Juvéderm is a next-generation smooth consistency gel dermal filler that helps to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the body. Juvéderm comes in two formulations Juvéderm Ultra and Juvéderm Ultra Plus.
Juvéderm temporarily adds volume to facial tissue and restores a smoother appearance to the face. It will help to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds as well as plump the lips and decrease those smokers lines that you can get even without smoking. Juvederm can be used to "fill in" wrinkles, furrows and depressions around the nose and mouth, including the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and smile lines. It can also be used to reshape the nose, reduce eye bags, and fill the cheeks, making you look younger and refreshed instantly. We even use it in the hands to restore lost volume and rejuvenate the hands
Vitahl Medical Aesthetics is a leading Denver Juvederm injector, providing injection and consultation services for the greater Denver, Colorado region.
Juvéderm is available in two formulations to allow your physician or nurse to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Juvéderm Ultra provides versatility in contouring and volumizing facial wrinkles and folds. Juvéderm Ultra Plus is a more robust formulation for volumizing and correcting deeper folds and wrinkles.
Juvéderm employs its unique manufacturing process to provide the highest concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of any currently available hyaluronic acid dermal filler for long-lasting results. This advanced manufacturing process works to create a smooth consistency gel that flows easily into the skin and provides a smooth, natural look and feel. All other currently approved hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are made of granular consistency gels. And, Juvéderm is the first hyaluronic acid dermal filler that has demonstrated its safety and effectiveness in persons of color.
Juvéderm is a next generation hyaluronic acid dermal filler that provides volume and is used to treat wrinkles and folds resulting from a loss of volume beneath the surface of the skin such as perioral lines and nasolabial folds (lines around your mouth and nose). Juvéderm restores your skin's volume for a smooth, natural look and feel. BOTOX Cosmetic is not a filler, it relaxes muscle activity in order to treat moderate to severe wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in all mammals that helps to hydrate and add volume to your skin. In addition to its use as an aesthetic treatment, hyaluronic acid has also been used for more than 20 years for injection into arthritic joints to aid movement as well as for eye surgeries and wound repair. Uncross-linked hyaluronic acid in its natural form is in a liquid state. Cross-linking is the process through which hyaluronic acid is made into a gel product that can be injected into the skin for long-lasting results.
Injections may cause some discomfort during and after the injection. The smooth consistency gel of Juvéderm allows your doctor or nurse to administer it easily and smoothly. And, Juvéderm is injected directly into the skin using a fine needle to reduce injection discomfort. You may choose to numb (anesthetize) the treatment area with topical numbing cream or a dental block to further minimize discomfort.
The injection process takes only about 15 to 30 minutes. You'll also need to allow time to consult with your doctor or nurse prior to treatment. If you choose to do topical numbing we recommend allotting an additional 30 to 60 minutes for treatment.
The unique formulation of Juvéderm provides results that last approximately 12 months.
Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting. The most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions such as: redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching and discoloration. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.
Yes. In fact, Juvéderm is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that has proven its safety and effectiveness in persons of color. Studies with Juvéderm showed no increased risk of hyperpigmentation or hypertrophic scarring in patients of color.
Initial Juvederm treatments are usually complete in one or two sessions, as needed. Each session, on average, will contain 1-2 syringes. The number of syringes depends upon area of concern and anatomy, both of which are placed into consideration during your consultation. Depending on your individual body chemistry, you will work with your medical professional to determine a maintenance schedule. Talk to a professional at VITAHL about your individual needs.
