How Long is the Recovery Period?

The most common side effects of a truSculpt™ treatment may include redness and tenderness at the treatment site, but they generally fade after a few hours.

When Will the Patient Start Seeing Results?

The patient will start to see results within a matter of days. Heating fat cells destroys them, and the body’s immune system then breaks them down. The process generally takes between four weeks and three months.

Is TruSculpt™ the Same as CoolSculpting®?

No. While truSculpt™ uses radiofrequency energy to heat cells, CoolSculpting® uses controlled cooling to freeze them. Both procedures do destroy fat cells. truSculpt™ can be used on more parts of the body, and is not limited like CoolSculpting®.
